Today the 24-year-old San Francisco starter was awarded the National League Rookie of the Month trophy for his standout performance in June. He dominated the rookie class, registering 3 wins and no losses in 4 starts with 35 strikeouts in 27.1 innings and a 3.95 ERA. Not bad for a first-year man.
