American League Names Rookie of Month Wednesday, August 1st, 2046 Bruce Grimes's eyes seem to light up whenever he sees the baseball. The young Tampa Bay first baseman has been hitting everything in sight for the better part of a month. In July he was voted the Rookie of the Month Award. During the month he hit .412 with 8 doubles, no triples and 12 home runs. Grimes also scored 30 times and drove in 25 runs. For the year Grimes has hit .320 with 41 home runs, 106 RBIs and scored 88 runs. |
