Hernandez Gone for Season in Oakland Monday, May 28th , 2068 The Oakland Athletics and their fans were rocked today by the news that star reliever Estevan Hernandez would miss the rest of the season due to injury. Hernandez was hurt in a recent game against the Cleveland Indians while throwing a pitch. He was immediately removed from the game and taken for examination. Tests today revealed the injury was a ruptured ulnar collateral ligament. His doctors think that Hernandez will miss about 13 months.
