Ostiguin Sits Out with Day-to-Day Injury Friday, June 9th , 2084 The topic du jour around Seattle is whether Rodolfo Ostiguin of the Mariners will suit up for today's contest. He was injured yesterday against the Red Sox while making a defensive play. The standout 23-year-old left fielder has a sprained wrist and didn't rule out playing, but did say that if pain persisted, he would not risk further injury. "Rodolfo will play if he can," said the team doctor. "He hasn't got a major injury, but at the same time, we need to monitor the situation and protect him as much as possible."
