Parker Goes 5-for-6 Against Arizona Monday, May 7th , 2108 Ray Parker exploded for a barrage of base hits at Chase Field. The San Diego second baseman had a field day in his team's 15-2 triumph over the Arizona Diamondbacks, finishing 5-for-6. "My hitting philosophy is simple," he said. "I focus on just seeing the ball and I try to get a good pitch." Parker must have focused at least 5 times and apparently got some good pitches, too, leading to one of his best days ever with the bat. Ray Parker singled in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Dan Couture in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, doubled in the 8th and flied out in the 9th.
