Players Suspended in Padres-Cubs Donnybrook Tuesday, April 29th , 2110 Oscar Cabanas of the San Diego Padres and Fumikazu Nakahama of the Chicago Cubs will be on the sidelines for a few days. They have been suspended for 4 and 9 games respectively by the league office for causing the bench-emptying free-for-all at the recent Padres-Cubs game at Wrigley Field. Neither player had any comment about the suspensions. Both clubs told BNN Cabanas and Nakahama will begin serving them soon. So far this season, Cabanas has 3 home runs and a .190 batting average. |
