Baltimore Swaps Chapa to New York for Sable Tuesday, January 6th , 2093 Baltimore and New York have agreed in principle to a trade. The Orioles will send 19-year old minor league CF Jonas Chapa, 20-year old minor league LHP Griff Hill, 20-year old minor league RHP Josh Morgan, 24-year old minor league LHP Nick Frye, 19-year old minor league 2B Brandon Thomas, and a 1st round draft pick to the Yankees for 24-year old RHP Chris Sable. The deal is expected to be finalized shortly and the clubs will be introducing their new players to the press when the paperwork is complete. In his career, Sable has compiled an ERA of 5.03 with 16 victories and 27 defeats and has held opponents to a .276 batting average. He also has struck out 396 batters in 385 innings and given up 420 hits. |
