Padres-Nationals Deal: Borden for Gallman Thursday, January 8th , 2099 In a move that has fans in both cities buzzing, the San Diego Padres and the Washington Nationals have agreed to a deal that will have 27-year old minor league LF Jason Borden heading to Washington in exchange for 26-year old RHP Todd Gallman. Provided they pass a physical, the players should be with their respective teams in time for tomorrow's games. For his career, Borden is hitting .273 with 92 homers, 279 RBIs and 523 hits. |
