Marlins, Reds Confirm Deal Monday, January 20th , 2081 The Miami Marlins have parted ways with 21-year old minor league 2B Josh Goforth and a 3rd round draft pick in a trade with the Cincinnati Reds for 34-year old 3B Hadde Theunis. Marlins general manager Robinson confirmed the deal in an announcement this morning. Cincinnati will retain a portion of Theunis's remaining contract. Theunis has a career .310 batting average and .344 on-base percentage. He has recorded 1923 hits with 291 doubles, 100 triples, 227 homers, 909 RBIs and scored 978 runs since coming into the league. |
