The San Diego Padres and the Washington Nationals have agreed to a trade that will send $1 in cash and $3,600,000 in international amateur bonus pool room to Washington, while $1 in cash will be shipped to San Diego. A top front office executive with the Padres described the trade talks as "quick and easy." "We're glad to get this deal done. We think it's something that helps our ball club and it didn't take too long at all to sort this one out," he said. |
