New York-Miami Trade: Pagan for Metcalf Friday, March 31st, 2051 It took some time to iron out the details, but the Yankees and Marlins have agreed to a swap. Miami will get 35-year-old RHP Tim Blasko and 26-year-old RHP Alejandro Pagan with New York receiving 19-year-old minor league C Danny Gardner and 19-year-old minor league LF Jeremy Metcalf in return. A source close to the trade talks said the two clubs were initially looking to make a bigger deal, but discussions broke off late last night. The two sides reconvened early today and eventually settled on this deal. In his career Pagan has 8 saves with a 10-13 record and a 4.16 ERA. |
