Mariners Send Curley to St. Louis Tuesday, February 1st , 2095 Everybody is overjoyed with a trade consummated today by the Seattle Mariners and the St. Louis Cardinals. In the deal Seattle got 22-year old minor league LHP Rick Hutson and a 3rd round draft pick from St. Louis and dealt 27-year old RHP Todd Curley to the Cardinals. The general managers that made the swap are happy and the players are happy, too. One of the GMs commented, "This was a good swap for all concerned." Curley has a career spanning 240 appearances. He has earned 11 saves and posted 427 strikeouts in 578.1 innings. His record is 30-37 and he has a 4.81 ERA. |
