Oakland Trades Greenberg for New York's Garrone Sunday, April 9th, 2051 BNN is reporting a rumored trade between the Oakland Athletics and New York Mets has been finalized. The deal, which is expected to be announced sometime during the next few hours, will reportedly send 26-year-old 3B Danny Greenberg to New York in return for 19-year-old minor league RHP Roberto Garrone and a 1st round draft pick. The clubs were noncommittal on the trade, but did not deny it. In his career stats Greenberg has compiled a .268 batting average and collected 129 hits, 13 home runs and 67 RBIs. |
