Kansas City Ships Robleto to Boston Tuesday, April 13th, 2049 It took some time to iron out the details, but the Royals and Red Sox have agreed to a swap. Boston will get 30-year-old RHP Rich Robleto with Kansas City receiving a 2nd round draft pick in return. A source close to the trade talks said the two clubs were initially looking to make a bigger deal, but discussions broke off late last night. The two sides reconvened early today and eventually settled on this deal. Thus far in his career, Robleto has worked 1203 innings with 1337 strikeouts en route to a 71-69 record. The 30-year-old also has a 4.32 ERA. |
