Parra's Condition Worse, Suffers Another Setback Friday, March 3rd , 2113 Mel Parra's return to the San Diego Padres has been delayed. The 26-year-old reliever has been in treatment for a torn rotator cuff and was responding well until he suffered sharp pains during a light workout. Upon examination by team doctors they reported that there had been further damage and Parra will not be back as originally diagnosed. He will now be out at least 6 weeks. |
