Phillips Selected ATL's #1 Rookie Thursday, August 1st , 2080 Rob Phillips strung a bunch of high quality starts together in July to earn the Atlantic League Rookie of the Month trophy. For the month of July the 26-year-old Phillips recorded a 3-1 won-lost mark with a 2.83 ERA and 44 strikeouts in 28.2 innings. Phillips has gone 3-4 this season with an ERA of 4.76 and 94 strikeouts in 68 innings pitched. Other clubs are hitting .238 against him. |
