Rivera Takes ATL's Best Bat Award Sunday, September 1st , 2080 Prospective free agents love to have hot streaks and Marco Rivera is no exception. The Long Island first baseman capped off a fine month by hauling in Batter of the Month honors in the Atlantic League. In August Rivera hit .336 with 10 home runs, 23 RBIs and 25 runs scored. This year Rivera is hitting .274 with 32 home runs and 79 RBIs in 123 games played. He also boasts an OBP of .366 with 64 walks and 96 runs scored. |
