Alfredo Argueta said it takes "a lot of dedication and sacrifice" to win a division title. That's why he and his Long Island Ducks teammates were so excited to celebrate their Atlantic League Liberty Division championship today.

"It's been a team effort all year long," he said. "You don't get to this point without the guys in the room believing in what we're doing."

That belief has paced the club to a 84-54 record on the season. It is the club's 8th Atlantic League Liberty Division championship and puts them in position for their 5th Atlantic League championship.

"It's a talented bunch in that room," manager Tim Christie said pointing to his celebrating players. "I wouldn't bet against us."
