15-K Game for Skeeters Hallet Saturday, September 7th , 2080 Chris Hallet of the Sugar Land Skeeters put on a pitching clinic today at BB&T Point Ballpark as he struck out 15 High Point Rockers in a 5-1 victory. Hallet, who finished 5th in the ATL in strikeouts with 197 in 2080, was simply magnificent as he held the Rockers to 3 hits. He walked 1. "I felt okay at the beginning," Hallet said, "but eventually my slider really started working. I also have to thank my catcher for calling a great game." When asked about Hallet's performance, Skeeters manager Casey Dill shook his head and said, "Yeah, he was good out there today. He was dominating." To date this season, Hallet has a record of 8 wins and 12 losses and a 4.08 ERA. He has appeared in 24 games and struck out 197 in 156.2 innings. |
