Skeeters Spank Warriors, 12-0 Sunday, July 7th , 2080 Tomas Miranda was impressive at None today in the Sugar Land Skeeters' 12-0 shutout victory over the Road Warriors. The Sugar Land pitcher mystified the Warriors in a strong performance, giving up 7 hits and totaling 1 walk and 11 strikeouts. "Tomas had them chasing a lot of pitches and talking to themselves," Sugar Land manager Casey Dill. "It was something special to watch." Checking out his stats for the season, Miranda has notched 5 wins and 4 losses in 9 starts, 3.82 ERA and struck out 79 batters in 77.2 innings. |
