Mono Booms 3 out of the Park Friday, August 3rd , 2068 Garden City left fielder Chris Mono blasted three homers today at Fort Marcy Ballfield in the 6-5 Wind victory over the Santa Fe Fuego. For the game, Chris Mono scored 3 times and knocked in 5 runs. When he hit his last home run, his teammates, hearing the crack of the bat, leaped off the bench and rushed on the field to greet the jubilant Mono when he reached home plate. "It was just one game, but it sure was a lot of fun -- 3-for-3, three roundtrippers and a win," a gleeful Mono told BNN reporters in a postgame interview. "What a day."
