Mono Boosts Hit Streak to 25 Games Tuesday, August 7th , 2068 Nobody has been able to shut down Garden City Wind left fielder Chris Mono in recent days. The Alpine Cowboys fared no better than the rest. Today at Kokernot Field, Mono picked up 1 hit in 3 at-bats en route to a 5-3 Wind victory. It stretched his hitting string to 25 consecutive games. Chris Mono grounded out in the 2nd, singled in the 5th, grounded out in the 7th and walked in the 9th. So far this season Mono is hitting .370 with 33 home runs. |
