Colston Grabs PECOS Reliever of the Year Saturday, August 25th , 2068 Justin Colston of the Wasco Reserves has been named the winner of the 2068 Pecos League Reliever of the Year. The award comes at an opportune time too, as the 25-year-old is an impending free agent. "You always hope to have this type of year every year, but it's pretty special to have it before I go to free agency, if that happens," he said. On the year, the relief ace had a 1.22 ERA over 74 innings of work. He made 43 relief appearances and had 10 saves, 105 strikeouts, 24 walks and a record of 6-1. Opponent batters hit only .157 against him. He received 14 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Hyo-cheong Lee of the Santa Fe Fuego finished second in voting, while Jeremy Daye of the Roswell Invaders finished third.
