Aguirre Booms 3 Homers Monday, June 11th , 2068 In a powerful performance that left the fans at Fort Marcy Ballfield buzzing, White Sands Pupfish left fielder Luis Aguirre blasted a trio of home runs en route to a 9-8 win over the Santa Fe Fuego. "Everything was clicking," Aguirre told the press. "My timing was good and I got pitches I could handle and I didn't miss them." Aguirre shined brilliantly in the win, with 3 hits in 5 at-bats, 7 RBIs and 3 runs scored. "It's not just one guy, it's everybody," Pupfish manager Brooks Gleason said. "Luis played great but it takes more than one guy to win a game." Luis Aguirre flied out in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Armando Ferrera in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Armando Ferrera in the 6th, hit a GRAND SLAM off Mario Ayala in the 7th and struck out in the 8th.
