Andrew Snell Hurt, Out for Year
Saturday, June 23rd , 2068
Andrew Snell of the Train Robbers just might have to call it quits for the season. The 25-year-old Bakersfield closer received a possible season-ending injury against the Garden City Wind recently at Sam Lynn Ballpark. Snell suffered a torn flexor tendon in his elbow while throwing a pitch. The Train Robbers medical staff said he could be out quite some time, as much as 9 months.

Snell has made 18 games so far this year with no saves. In 28 innings he has dished out 34 strikeouts and walked 14 with a 2-5 mark and a 6.43 ERA.
