Stompers Poirier Blanks Admirals Wednesday, August 8th , 2068 It was a long day at the plate for the Vallejo Admirals at Wilson Park today. They never figured out Sonoma Stompers starter Donald Poirier and were shut out 3-0. The right-hander baffled the Admirals the entire game, yielding no runs and giving up 1 hit in a well-pitched outing. Poirier also totaled 6 strikeouts and 2 walks in the game.
