Pacific Association Chooses Best Manager
Sunday, September 16th , 2068
The Sonoma Stompers had an outstanding season, much of it due to their astute and gifted skipper. For his managerial excellence, Jordan Gonzalez reaped the reward of being voted Pacific Association Manager of the Year.
"A manager is only as good as the players he's managing," Gonzalez told reporters. "If I didn't have the talent to work with, making all the right moves wouldn't have helped a bit."
Under Gonzalez the Stompers finished second in the Pacific Association with a record of 43-38.
