Overturf Hittin' on All Cylinders Thursday, August 2nd , 2068 Wild right fielder Andy Overturf made big news today in New Hampshire's 13-2 victory over the Puerto Rico Islanders. He was 4-for-5 at the plate and hit for the cycle, collecting 1 single, 1 double, 1 triple and 1 home run. "My numbers were gaudy but lots of guys deserve a share of the credit today," Overturf said later. Andy Overturf hit a solo-shot off Rodrigo Ocampo in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, tripled in the 6th, walked in the 8th and flied out in the 9th. So far this year Overturf is hitting .311 with 3 home runs. |
