Carranza Nabs USPBL Weekly Award Monday, July 2nd , 2068 It was an extraordinary week for Dave Carranza of the Oakland Herons. First he goes on a hot hitting streak, batting .450, then he is voted the Player of the Week in the United Shore Professional Baseball League. Last week Carranza went 9-for-20, racked up 4 home runs and 8 RBIs and scored 6 runs. It was a heck of a week for the Oakland left fielder. This year Carranza is hitting at a .241 pace with 12 home runs and 32 RBIs. He has played in 38 games and scored 21 times. |
