Howard Blasts 3 out of the Park Saturday, July 14th , 2068 Kenny Howard showed off his power today as he launched three balls into the seats against the Westside Woolly Mammoths and sparked the Diamond Hoppers to a 7-4 victory. "I got some good pitches to hit and turned on them real good," he told reporters in the postgame interview. "I have always liked to hit at Jimmy John's Field." For the day, Howard collected 3 hits in 4 at-bats, scored 3 runs and had 6 RBIs. "He was instant offense today," Eastside skipper Victor Sepulveda said. "Kenny really put on a show." Kenny Howard hit a solo-shot off Luis Diaz in the 1st, struck out in the 4th, hit a three-run home run off Luis Diaz in the 5th and hit a two-run home run off Santos Privado in the 7th. For the season Howard is hitting .321, batted in 25 runs with 11 home runs and 27 runs scored. |
