Pabon Goes 5-for-5 Against Gary SouthShore Friday, July 3rd , 2099 Eduardo Pabon did a number on the RailCats in the Tucson 7-4 victory today, and the number was 5. The Chameleons third baseman banged out 5 hits in 5 at-bats at U.S. Steel Yard to lead his club past the Gary SouthShore RailCats. "I felt good in the batter's box today," he said later. "I had confidence in my swing and knew that it was there and that I could get the job done." Eduardo Pabon singled in the 1st, hit a two-run single in the 2nd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 6th and hit a three-run home run off Santos Holguin in the 8th. This year Pabon is hitting .295 with 3 home runs and 21 RBIs in 41 games played. He also boasts an OBP of .371 with 18 walks and 24 runs scored. |
