Curve Pull Off Thrilling 6-3 Win in Extras

Arm & Hammer Park was the site of the home opener for the Trenton Thunder. The contest featured a prime matchup between Eric Bobinski of the visiting Altoona Curve and Bryan Brown of the Thunder. The final score was 6-3, the Curve getting the win. Eric Bobinski turned in the best performance. Justin LaRose got credit for the win, improving to 1-0. He allowed no runs on no hits in 1.1 innings.
Nick Gibilisco hit a bases-clearing triple off Nick Miller in the top of the 12th, which put the Curve in front, 6-3. Gibilisco had 1 single, in addition to the triple. For the game, he went 2 for 7.
"Always feels extra good winning this kind of game," said Gibilisco.
