Skipper Allen Let Go by Akron

A press conference announcing the firing of Ted Allen has been set for today by the Akron RubberDucks.
When pressed for reasons behind the decision to fire Allen, Akron GM said, "We spoke in my office for an hour and decided that it was time to make a change. Unfortunately, his philosophy was no longer working in the clubhouse and a new voice was necessary for us to continue moving in the right direction."
A replacement is expected to be named to the media soon.
