The Bowling Green Hot Rods picked up a win at Bowling Green Ballpark, taking down the Great Lakes Loons, 4-3. Starting pitcher Vinny Curiel was a big reason why. The Hot Rods, at 52-71, sit in 7th place in the Eastern Division.

The game was decided with one out in the bottom of the ninth. With Bowling Green trailing 3-2, Josh Ridgeway hit a fastball from Eric Schmidt to center for a 2-run single. Just like that, the Hot Rods had a walk-off win.

"It's what good teams do, find a way to win," said Ridgeway.
