Fans saw a dandy of a game between the Dayton Dragons and Fort Wayne TinCaps.

The Dayton Dragons eked out a 3-2 win versus the Fort Wayne TinCaps at Fifth Third Field. Nobody did more than pitcher Armando Galvez. He was terrific. The Dragons move to 58-65 with the win, while the TinCaps drop to 58-65.

With scoring opportunities rare, the Dragons had to cash in when they had the chance. One such opportunity presented itself in the bottom of the fourth, when catcher Brian Criss hit a run-scoring single. The single came off Joe Mills and made the score 3-0, Dragons. Criss was 1-3.

"We just didn't score enough runs to win," said Fort Wayne manager Michael Chiquito.
