Lugnuts Snag 3-2 Win
Behind the hitting of Travis St. Pierre, the Lansing Lugnuts stopped the Dayton Dragons, 3-2. St. Pierre went 2-4 with a home run. He scored 2 times for the Lugnuts. Aaron Crum snagged the win in relief. In 2 innings, the left-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits. He's now 10-4 on the season. The third-place Lugnuts go to 81-44.

Lansing used the timely hitting of Danny Crane to seize the win. The designated hitter stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Lugnuts on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"We faced good pitching and still got it done," said St. Pierre.
