The Burlington Bees picked up a win at Fifth Third Bank Ballpark, courtesy of Jorge Rendon. The right-hander helped his team stop the Kane County Cougars, 3-0. Rendon got the win, improving to 10-7. He gave up 4 hits and walked 1 over 7 innings. He allowed no runs. Jimmy Powell wrapped it up, recording his 8th save.

Josh Sowers had a direct impact on the outcome. Sowers contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the first inning to put Burlington up, 1-0.
