The Great Lakes Loons picked up a win at Dow Diamond, taking down the Dayton Dragons, 5-4. Starting pitcher Eric Anderson was a big reason why. The second-place Loons improved to 84-45.

Anderson was in the zone all game. He frustrated Dayton hitters while giving the Loons 6 innings of quality work. Anderson threw 90 pitches, allowing 2 hits and getting 10 punchouts.

"Got a lot of swings and misses today," said Anderson.
