Dayton right-hander Tom Canaday helped his team edge Bowling Green by the score of 3-2 in 10 innings. Canaday kept the opposing lineup in check. The Dragons now have a record of 62-68 with the win over Bowling Green.

The Dragons got a clutch hit from third baseman Caleb Wrightson. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Dragons.

"This ballgame left me feeling kind of raw," said Bowling Green manager Ernesto Torre.
