Tyler Forsythe, who was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2113 draft, propelled his team to victory over the Bowling Green Hot Rods. The final score was 7-6, Lansing. Earning his 15th save of the year was Vince Luft. The Lugnuts move to 62-69 with the win, while the Hot Rods drop to 33-98.

Eric Anderson was 3-3 with a double and 2 singles for Lansing. The 22-year old third baseman had a key at-bat in the bottom of the seventh. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 6-6 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Pete Joyce. It was his 13th RBI of the season.

"There's never a lack of effort in our clubhouse. We're willing to do the little things to get the win," Forsythe told the Lansing Times.
