Salvador Moya pitched a gem to lead Clinton to victory over the Quad Cities River Bandits, 1-0. Reliever Shane Mattila picked up the win. His record improves to 5-3. Avery Norris took the loss. Nate Sharp recorded the save for Clinton, his 16th of the season.

Carlos Rivera was 1 for 3 with a walk for Clinton. In a tie game with one out in the bottom of the seventh, Rivera came through with a run-scoring walk. It put the LumberKings in front, 1-0.

"Runs were tough to come by," said Moya. "But we scored just enough to win."

Clinton, at 47-84, sits in last place in the Western Division.
