The Dayton Dragons and Fort Wayne TinCaps left the fans buzzing.

Fort Wayne pitcher Mike Kremer did his part in helping his team beat the Dayton Dragons, 4-3. The right-hander kept opposing batters from doing too much damage. Robbie Castro notched the win in relief. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 2 hits in 2 innings. His record now sits at 3-0.

Fort Wayne got a clutch hit from John Waddoups. The pinch hitter launched a solo home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a kill shot.

"The crowd was raucous," said Waddoups.

By defeating Dayton, the 6th-place TinCaps improved to 63-70.
