Greensboro Gets 4-1 Win
Greensboro pitcher Jorge Santana did his part in helping his team defeat the Lakewood BlueClaws, 4-1. The opposition could never get too much going against the right-hander. Santana picked up the win for Greensboro, going 7.1 innings. He gave up 1 run on 7 hits. He now sports a record of 1-0. Alfonso Delgado got the save, the 1st for him this season.

Greensboro used the timely hitting of Jared Lewis to seize the win. The catcher stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Grasshoppers on top, 1-0. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

Afterward, Grasshoppers manager Josh Lex said, "We had some good at-bats, some big at-bats in some key situations."
