SAL News: Playoffs begin

The South Atlantic League playoffs are here -- so let the games begin! It's time to crown the Round 2 champion for 2114. Now that the regular season has ended and the best ballclubs have been decided, it's playoff time. Any ballplayer worth his salt wants those coveted championship rings. A real ballplayer knows that he needs those little golden treasures to seal his fame in the league annals. The second season is here starting today with some sparkling series on tap:
Kannapolis Intimidators vs Delmarva Shorebirds and Rome Braves vs Asheville Tourists.

Breaking SAL News: Regular Season ends

Another season has come to pass and "to the winners go the spoils" -- the lucky ones will be headed for the playoffs in a few days and a chance to win the South Atlantic League title in the Round 2. The envious losers, however, will suffer a long and somber offseason, wondering where it all went wrong and trying to figure out how to do it right.
