Wet weather did not postpone the Delmarva-Greensboro ballgame.

Kevin Rodden, who was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2110 draft, never let the Grasshoppers get in a groove. The right-hander used his bread and butter, his sinker, to pitch the Shorebirds to a win, 6-0. The win gives Delmarva a record of 2-3.

Delmarva used the hitting of Seth Morris to pick up the win. The center fielder clubbed a solo home run in the top of the third inning to put the Shorebirds on top, 2-0. For the game, Morris had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"Kevin's as tough as he is talented," said Delmarva manager Tom Phillips.
