Intimidators Suffer One-Run Loss at Hagerstown
The umbrellas came out during the Hagerstown-Kannapolis contest at Municipal Stadium.

The Hagerstown Suns beat the Kannapolis Intimidators, 6-5, at Municipal Stadium. The Suns got a fine performance from first baseman Javier Aybar, who was 2-4 with a home run, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. Bobby Rivera earned the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed 4 runs on 10 hits in 4.2 innings. His record is now 1-0.

Ben Baker, the Hagerstown right fielder, contributed a 2-run single in the bottom of the fifth inning to make the score 6-0, Suns. For the game, Baker went 1 for 4, while adding 2 RBI.

"I'm trying to see the ball big, see the ball up in the zone and put the barrel on it," Aybar told the Hagerstown Daily News.

Hagerstown is now 3-2.
