Grasshoppers Win with Late Heroics
The Asheville Tourists wasted an impressive 6.1-inning effort from starter Ryan Tassin, falling, 2-1, to the Greensboro Grasshoppers in 11 innings at NewBridge Bank Park. Greensboro goes to 4-3.

The Grasshoppers got a clutch hit from right fielder Chris McNally. In the bottom of the 11th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Grasshoppers.

McNally attributed the win to his team's "collective resolve."
