Perigo Dominant in Tourists Victory
Chris Perigo pitched a masterpiece in helping Asheville triumph over the Columbia Fireflies, 3-1. The save went to Shamar James, number 1 for him. With the loss, Columbia sinks to 2-5.

Perigo gave Asheville a first-rate performance. The 6-foot-4 right-hander permitted 1 run on 1 hit over 8 innings of work.

"This was a tough loss," said Columbia manager Tony Acosta. "It'll stick in my craw for a while."
