The Hagerstown Suns got a stellar performance from pitcher Zack McNary, who handcuffed the Greensboro offense en route to a win, 4-1, at Municipal Stadium. Chad Klausman, credited with the win in relief, is now 1-0. He allowed no runs on no hits in 2 innings. The loss has the Grasshoppers at 4-4.

Hagerstown took the lead, 4-1, on Bryant Greve's 1st home run of the season. The 3-run home run came off Greensboro pitcher Bobby Sheats in the bottom of the seventh.

Greve attributed the win to his team's "focus and intensity."
