Blanchard Pops Two Homers in 6-0 Win for West Virginia
|
A good performance from third baseman Joel Blanchard helped the West Virginia Power defeat the Greenville Drive, 6-0. Blanchard went 2-4 with 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice for the Power. With their winning streak at 5, the Power have raced to a strong start this season.
Early in the game, Blanchard had a 3-run home run for West Virginia. It was his 3rd home run of the season and put the Power on top, 3-0.
"Put the ball in play and good things will happen," said Blanchard.
