Marinaro Jacks Two Home Runs in 7-2 Binghamton Win
The 3-hit performance of George Marinaro helped the Binghamton Mets beat the Richmond Flying Squirrels, 7-2. The winning pitcher was Fernando Tarango. His record now stands at 2-2. The right-hander went 8.1 innings, allowing 2 runs on 7 hits for the Mets. After losing, Richmond is 9-9.

Binghamton took a 5-1 lead on Marinaro's 2nd home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which he hit off Danny Casas in the bottom of the sixth, propelled Binghamton to the win.
